Community Archiving Day: Black Queer Folk

Do you have materials & memories documenting your Black lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and/or queer family in the East Bay? Dust them off and share them with the community & our archives!

These items will be digitized and become a part of EastSide Arts Alliance's CARP, BALA, and the new AfroPortals Digital Archive curated by AAFR, ensuring that our collective history is preserved for future generations.

Approx. location in Eastmont Hills, Oakland. Exact address will be shared after confirmed appointment, please do not share with anyone besides your visiting party. 

$50 participation stipend per family, paid via gift card. Lyft vouchers available upon request.
