Magtampo Ta! (Let’s Do Our Part in Bisaya) is a collaboration of Liyang Network Northern California and Brwngrlz to provide a creative space for participants to gain awareness of what’s going on with the human rights situation in the Philippines, process our collective grief and outrage at the rising of fascism across the globe, and create intentionally made pieces of jewelry as a reminder of our values and our commitments to ourselves and the community as we build solidarity from the Bay to the Philippines.

Magtampo Ta! will be at the Eastside Arts Alliance, 2277 International Blvd, Oakland on June 12th from 6-8pm.

Sliding scale entry fee of $20-40 to cover the costs of the materials for this workshop and creative space, as well as to send as material support for human rights and environmental defenders in the Philippines as part of Liyang Network’s Defend the Defender’s Campaign.
