Repurpose II is a community embrace toward healing. The invitation is to collectively integrate the practices of spoken word, immersive art installations, chanting, movement, and community to shift toward transforming the ache of grief into fertile energy.

The call is to find ways into the cracked spaces of our broken hearts and fill them with sounds and vibrations that open us up to our mind-body-spirit connection. Using tones and chanting as a vehicle for our healing will be one way in. Massaging our sweet hearts with words as well will be another path inward. Using poetry and storytelling as guidance to help us locate what is tender and harvesting the hard feelings to make room for something regenerative.

The Live Arts in Resistance series is supported in part by the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation and our generous individual donors.
