Neighborhood Arts
Through hands-on projects, our students gain experience by learning artistic skills in graffiti lettering, spray paint techniques, airbrushing, fine arts, & mural design. Students will also apply their creative skills to support community-based art projects, events & large-scale murals!
Eastside’s Neighborhood Arts partners with Oaklands Department of Transportation and Safe Passages on the Paint the Town Program. This program provides the opportunity for Oakland residents to participate in a neighborhood street mural! With the guidance of Eastside arts alliance network, community involvement and amazing artists we are able to work hand in hand with applicants to create murals all over Oakland.
