Join EastSide for a community tradition that spans nearly a decade long, The Xicana Moratorium Block Party is back as part of the annual tradition of Xicana Moratorium, the event commemorates and pays homage to the powerful legacy and resistance of the Chicano Moratorium that took place in Los Angeles in 1970.
This year the aim is to bring love to our beloved city by celebrating our immigrant community- and in particular supporting the vendors that share their talents with us year round. The Block Party brings together local organizations and vendors to share community resources, build relationships, and uplift our block!
Our stage will be alive with powerful programming, featuring inspirational words from our guest speakers, poets and great performances.
