About The Story:
They Have Names: Hind Rajab is a poetic, symbolic tribute to Hind Rajab, a six-year-old Palestinian girl who cried out for help from the fire in Gaza in 2024. Told in her voice, it blends memory and testimony. Through vivid language, symbolic imagery, and sacred silence, Hind returns not to recount what happened, but to be remembered as she lived—playful, wise, and full of dreams.
This story does not seek pity. It calls for witness.
It is not realism—it is ritual.
A call to remember her name, to hear her voice, and to sit, even briefly, in the silence the world left behind.
This is not a story about war.
It is a story about one child’s voice.
A child who waited to be saved.
A child who still wants to be heard.
